Indicazioni
- Definizione
Riassorbimento della struttura ossea che esita in necrosi
della stessa, secondaria a drastica riduzione dell'apporto
di Ossigeno, necessario al metabolismo osseo.
- Criteri di inclusione
Per la "necrosi avascolare della testa del femore":
Osteonecrosi in fase iniziale (stadi 1-2-3 di Ficat e
Arlet* e stadio 1-2 di Steinberg**), documentata da
Radiografia e RMN.
- Posologia
PRESSIONE: 2.2 - 2.5 ATA.
DURATA: almeno 60' di O2 totali in quota per 60-
90 trattamenti OTI, continuativamente o con brevi
(7-10 gg) intervalli.
- Verifica dei risultati
Dopo 1 mese dalla fine OTI (per escludere un peggioramento):
- Esame radiografico.
Dopo 4 mesi dalla fine OTI:
- RMN di controllo.
